Workshop 3: Storytelling as Liberation Work

Helloooo Brave Woman!

How are you? And how did your two-week homework assignment go?

I would LOVE to hear from you, so please shoot me an email at I miss seeing your face, so getting to know you personally and hearing your stories of bravery make me VERY happy.

Speaking of stories, I am SUPER excited to share this next workshop with you. For many years, I resisted the idea of storytelling, thinking it was akin to telling fairy tales.

Well guess what? It’s totally not.

Storytelling is powerful, deep and soulful work, and I credit my Brave BFF Kristyn Emmer Whitacker (pictured in the sidebar) for showing me the light.

I’m excited to share what she taught me and what I’ve learned from other incredible women about storytelling

In this workshop, we will:

  • Understand the power of language and how we can use it to unlearn
  • Explore strategies to reframe our experiences using three simple tools
  • Practice storytelling to rewrite an old story that is holding you back

  • Create community with your Brave BFF’s

Ready to get started?

Grab your Bravery Canvas that you created last month, bust out your journal, open up the Bravery Mindset Workbook – Workshop 3 and click on the video below!

A quick side note: This video is a bit shorter because the workshop includes more reflection and thinking and feeling. Also, I flubbed my lines a couple of times and chose to leave them in because PERFECTION IS THE VOICE OF THE OPPRESSOR.

Brave on,

PS – Don’t forget to email me an update at!
