Join us for Planting Seeds for Change, our debut workshop at THE LIVING SCHOOL.
This full day of classes, small group dialogue, action planning and laughter will help you connect personally with the rising consciousness of women who are ready to create change at work, in their community, and everywhere in between.
The program is a collaboration between AKO Collective and The Botanique Fort Collins, a botanical retreat center located within a beautiful historic school house.
Sometimes when you’re in a dark place, you think you’ve been buried, but actually, you’ve been planted.
Women have been planted deep in the soil for generations. And like bright green shoots, WE ARE RISING. Called by the sun to grow, come into our season, and plant seeds for change.
Through new thinking in women’s development, this interactive program will
- Give you space to hear your own voice over the needs and demands of everyone else.
- Learn to practice bravery and humor to successfully manage the ridiculousness of modern womanhood.
- Support and guide you to become a change maker wherever you find yourself
In addition, each registration includes a nutritious and delicious lunch, a sparkly-new journal, and…
A free ticket for your Brave BFF. (Yes. You read that right. Bring a friend for FREE.) Because women learn best in community, we want you to bring yours with you.
- Cultivating a Bravery Mindset: Bravery is essential for women who want to create change personally and professionally. Learn the four steps to developing a Bravery Mindset and design an actionable plan that will achieve results in two weeks time.
- Communicating for Change: The world needs women’s voices and contributions as much as we need to share them. Learn how to communicate your needs and practice conversations that will create change in your life.
- Navigating Transitions: We are in the midst of a new women’s movement, a transition that requires endings and new beginnings. Learn how to successfully transition out of the old and into the new.
Encore Session (Bonus Option)
After the workshop, join us for botanically-infused margaritas (Happy Cinco de Mayo!) and in-depth conversations about the classes. During our time together, we will share additional insights, teach you and your friend how to become accountability buddies, and answer your questions.
Online Workshop Series (Bonus Option)
Bring the workshop home with you through the Online Workshop Series. You will receive one workshop each month (June 1, July 1, and August 1) to share with an unlimited number of women. Revisit the concepts, complete the activities, and get together over coffee or wine (or both) to discuss.
One more thing
Each registration includes a donation to build schools for girls and women in rural Zimbabwe. Through a special connection to Dr. Tererai Trent, author of The Awakened Woman and Oprah Winfrey’s “Favorite Guest of All Time,” we are supporting our brave sisters in emerging nations by sharing proceeds from THE LIVING SCHOOL.
Western women are bound by internal barriers while women around the globe are bound by external barriers. Together, we will dismantle them all. – Alexis K-O
